Can't believe all of this RAIN

Post by Z-YOU on April 20th 2011, 12:22 pm

Seems like the weather has been extreme this spring. All of the heavy rain and last night the wind was scary. Any rain we get now is just wasted & doing damage. The ground is saturated, so shut off the spigot a little while already!

Wet basements everywhere.

Problem is that these wet springs seem to give us drought conditions in the summer & fall.

Farmers are going to need it when it counts & it's going to be as dry as a popcorn fart. My old oak trees are going to need it and there won't be a rain cloud within 50 miles.

I had to go out and cut the grass this evening even though it was still too wet. With the predicted rain over the next week, it'd be at least a foot tall the next time I'd be able to cut it.
