1990 Dodge Ram shortbed
Tried to buy this truck from a buddy that I use to work with. He wanted to sell it then he didn't. Another guy wanted it but never bought it from my buddy last year. I got a call a couple of weeks ago and my friend went to get tags renwed for a truck and he wound up paying back taxes on a coupe of vehicles. 208k miles. 3.9 V6 with a 5 speed. Great on fuel. Pretty straight body on it. Has a small amount of rust over the wheel in the bed. Just needs some love.
Pulled the rubber floor mats and insulation today. Soaking wet. I've got one small spot that started to rust just a little. Anyone know where I can find some drop spindles. Searched the internet but I can't find much on this body style.

No idea where to get drop stuff for that one. It's funny how Dodge stuck with an older body style compared to Ford and Chevy. Not a bad lookin' pick'em up

Thanks. Picked it up for a really good price. Previous owner let the oil in the trans get low and mess a bearing up. Talked to a couple of guys and dakota should work. Outside of the trans might be different diameter but should bolt up. Atleast it has a bolt on bellhousing unlike the chevy trucks of that year.
I may do air bags up front and even rears. No body makes lowering springs for the rear.

Re: 1990 Dodge Ram shortbed
Found out that I need to type in d150 instead of ram when doing searches on the internet. Found this article.

Found some dropped lower control arms but now spindles yet.

Got the trans back frombeing rebuilt. Brand new syncos, imput shaft, bearing and cluster gear. Got the flywheel and clutch pulled today. Taking it to louisville friday when I go to pick dad up and get a new one.
Kentucky clutch in Louisville has some pretty good deals on clutches. Saved about $250 on my tractor clutch.
