one of those damn car questions
So as i was talking about during the wanted add, i am curious,. On Power Block the other day i caught a partial show where they were installing a rack in pinion on a car, is it as simple as just buying one bolting and or welding one in? has anyone done this? In my neverending quest to get rid of the 1936 oldsmobile for a truck i want i feel the need to at least finish the steering. I finally finished the rear end and have the metal to weld in for the floors. hell if i could only get motivated to mess with it but thats another story. I did find myself makign the shackles for the rear end yesterday before being so rudly interupted to got o work. 17 hours later still no sleep I still have nothing on my mind but a truck. and not cutting the fenders to make them fit.
So back to the question, being a 1992 s-15 front end can i simply remove the current steering box and install a rack or what is the better cost friendly option?
Part time
Billy

Re: one of those damn car questions
