Beatersville 2011 Pics.....

Me and puddin' head went to Beatersville this morning. Got in line to enter at 10:30 AM. Didn't get my car through the gate and into the show. Too many cars, not enough room. It was messed up. Watched them turn away ten or fifteen of us at the back gate. Parked the Falcon down the street and walked in. By this time they were letting cars in again..... go figure. Great show! They just need more room....

Shame you couldn't get in the gate. I have missed it the last two years. Just too much other stuf going on.

I planned on driving my Comet down but I was showing off in front of some people in town and broke a ladder bar off the rearend on a hard launch.Oh well,maybe next year!

The Riv' caught my eye, that's for sure. It was slick.... The amount and variety of cars they manage to squeeze into that show is amazing. I took about forty pictures, could have taken 200 and still not represented all the different types of vehicles that show up for Beatersville. I didn't take any pictures of the bikes because they were packed so tight I couldn't get a clear shot. It's a great show but they still need more area to spread out. Guess I'm still a little mad about getting there at 10:30, setting in traffic for a half hour, being sent around back to an exit to be let in and still getting turned away.

Why, that wouldn't make me mad at all. You just need to develop the patience and forgiveness that I've spent a lifetime cultivating.

I just cracked a beer and got over it..... well, for the most part.

Great event that has out grown its venue......but if it moves then its just another show that may lose some of its appeal.

I Agree with you on all points!!! What do you do if you are sponsoring the event? Maybe make it a pre-register only show?
