Trauth Dairy Ceasing Production

Post by Roller Coaster on June 3rd 2011, 4:36 am

This is an extremely sad day for Northern Kentucky. A historical local landmark will not just become another trademark. And, two hundred and seventy persons loosing their occupations in this grim economy in one swift action. Also, unfortunately, this will have a major impact of the local economy in Newport.

Exactly what is going to take for Americans to become a rational thinking group of individuals and stand up against our out of control government?

That is some very bad news for Trauth employees. It's so hard to find jobs. How is over 200 people going to find anything. The governement is so messed up.

Actually, they are not locally owned any more. It's a subsidiary of Dean Foods.

In the paper this morning the article stated that 80 people would loose their jobs and the rest of the employees would stay to operate the location as a distribution center.

It's a horrible time for any number of folks to be loosing their jobs.
