Any Takers??!!
I'm glad you looked! Here's the issue.. Who want's to go to Cruise Olive Hill on July 2nd. Other than the Carter County Cruisers. If we can get enough people together we will take and adventure. Not like the last one.. We will cruise out Rt.8. Stop by some old gas stations and take some pics. Of course we would leave alot earlier. Who's interested?? I know it's July 4th weekend.. That's why I want to know who will go..

If weather permits, Janet, Gauge, and I will be camping in Fleming County that weekend. With that being said, I would be more than willing to meet you at the covered bridge in Goddard and act like a Scrounger for the evening.

We welcome your company anytime Greg. You don't have to act like one of us nut cases to hang. lolRoller Coaster wrote:meet you at the covered bridge in Goddard and act like a Scrounger for the evening.
Amy and I were talking last night. When I was break down in the gas station was that you that pulled in and talked to Joe? I seen him talking to someone and just thought it was someone he knew from work or some place. Amy said they had a mower in the truck and it had to be you after reading your post on the other thread. If it was I would have said hello, I did know it was you.

You guys come down early and we'll run through the parade together. I usually don't do the parade thing but with you all it could be fun.

Jimmy Dale Cummins thought that I was a member of the Scroungers Car Club. Therefore, I must have the acting like a nut case perfected.

Amy is correct! I was on the lookout for Scroungers the entire trip back from Flemingsburg, and was surprised when I noticed two groups (one traveling at the Pendleton/Bracken County line and one stuck at California Marketplace). I had intentions of walking over to see if I could assist with anything after fueling the mower (I only live about eight miles south of there). And, by the time I got the mower fueled they were pulling away from the parking stalls. Honestly, I didn't notice you, I noticed Randy.

Apparently we are discussing two different trucks. I was my wife and son in my fathers GMC towing a trailer with a John Deere Z245 mower.

Well, you know there's nothing like horse poop splattered under your car on a hot day.
I did a few parades and it really didn't thrill me, if I could ride a float or something and terrorize the town it might be ok
