Men can't fly and some can't swim

Johnny and I where out in the hot rods last night heading to Covington to see Butch. The bridge was blocked off so we had to back track to get to the other bridge. I found out this morning why.

NEWPORT,Ky - Newport police are trying to figure out why a naked man causing a disturbance ran away from them and jumped to his death off of the 4th Street bridge Sunday morning.

Police were called to Chestnut Way just after 1 a.m for a report of a man causing a disturbance. When they arrived, they found the man standing naked, on top of a car, yelling and challenging neighbors to a fight.

Police say the man ran away when they arrived, heading towards the 4th St. bridge where they say he climbed over the side and jumped into the Licking River. Water rescue units responded to the scene at that point and found the man's body a short time later.

The Campbell County Coroner is conducting an autopsy and Newport Police are still investigating the incident. The name of the man who died has not been released.
