The One
All know i sold the cutlass. I was searching craigslist for something else and came across this.
A short history on the truck it org. came from here in erlanger 2 blocks away from where i live now. The guy that i bought it from works at ccook enterprises which is the hot rod shop down the street. I have receipts dating back till 95 or later, with everything thats been done to the truck, complete tune up in 96, any and everthing to do with the gas tanks in 98, new jasper 700r in 97. The guy i got it from started building it in 2003 he put new 6'' drop in the rear, new 3'' drop spindles, 2'' lowering springs and toxic shocks, and new air shocks from jc whitney in the rear along with a billet grille all from stylinconcepts. In 05 he bought the 20x8 eagle alloy in the rear and 18x8 in the front with new nitto tires. After that he started buying a bed for the truck from auto body panels in cincy, the bed sides didnt fit to great, he bought another truck this one sat for 5 yrs with him starting it every so often it sat in wilder. :)
A few others told me to stay away from it because the owner said it needed cab corners, and rockers. I went and looked at the truck and it wasnt as bad as i thought and as bad as org owner said it was. I bought the truck without the bed. Here she is. Why is called the one, it will be the one that i keep and not flip or junk or sell...
driver side fender is worse then passenger side

thats a ford econoline van rear bumper thats been cut down and end caps pulled inwards.

not to sure on big balky mirrors.

air shocks

the frame has been sanded and just rattled can primered

exhaust is single 3'' all the way back.....

needs inner fenders

passenger side gas hoses i still need to cut down

driverside gas tank ive cut down the hoses so it doesnt hand over the side...

it does need floor boards in 2 spot in the cab, the tranny tunnel and under the seat is excellent. seat is nice out of a different truck, nice radio that he left in the truck in it 2.

Good start to a cool truck. I have a new metal roll pan with the tag light I'd sell. Doesn't do you much good without the bed but at least you'd have it for when you did get one.

How in the hell do you guys deal with nieghbors f@#king with your stuff and not blowing a gasket? I guess I'm lucky in that aspect, that or everybody in my nieghborhood just knows I'm an A**hole and thinks that I would be the one that would do it to them....
Anyway. looks like you have a good start there Rigg's. I worked for Clay Cook, after I left Antique Auto, way back years ago. Both of those Companies still do top notch restorations to this day.. (probabaly better since I have left them...lol)

It doesn't matter what neighborhood your in these days. My son lives in Florence and his tires are subject to vandalism at least three or four times a year. A few weeks ago, he had an ice pick stuck in the side of a tire. I lived in that neighborhood for 10 yrs and nothing ever happened to my cars. Young adults or whomever do not have the money to do anything and they think it's cool to vandalize your property when your asleep, being they would never try this crap during the day. Or they would get a case of whoop arse. But, I have insurance to cover vandalism if it does happen to me.
