poll of the day
hey guys, I took rebels advice and took my money and went on and bought me rims for my car. the guy took the wheels off a newer camaro so I was sure they would fit no problem, when i got home however I found out the wheels were 5 on 5 and my ta is 5 on 4 three quarters, so need wheel adapters. The cheapest I can find them for are 62 dollars apiece. so here is my ? would u all spend the extra money to put them on the car, or does anybody have 4 they want to sell? or should i just sell them and look for a diff set. I like the way the look my wife however does not, wat do u all think

Re: poll of the day
I'm half a century old or older but,
I look at it this way, if you liked them when you bought them, fork out the money for the adapters. That's why we all are different. Different strokes for different folks. I like the wheels, just don't like them sticking that far away from the wheel wells, it's up to you though! Remember this though, if you get low profile tires, there is no warranty on them and you will be replacing them in 2 years, depending on if you burn the tires up off the start. Then your looking at a year tops.
If you go a different direction and get a 15" or 16" wheel, you can get a tire that has more of a warranty on them. Plus the tire will last a lot longer.

Different strokes for different folks is what the saying is but I would go in another direction. Sell these wheels, add the money for the adapters and go looking for something you really like. Unless this is it. In that case go for it.

Re: poll of the day
if you like the wheels (which you said you did) buy the adapters .... those tires should be fine they are roughly 26" tall ...
just make sure when you buy adapters you get the right thickness and push the edge of the tire to the edge of the fenders .. should look real good and handle real well

They suck. Just my 2 cents. Makes it look like a DONK. Maybe if it was lowered.

X 2 !!!
Absolutely ghetto. Wheels are WAY too big and stick out too far, and adapters are going to make it worse. Looks like hammered horse crap. Cut your losses and sell them to somebody with a new Camaro or truck. Maybe a blingin' escalade or something.
Sorry for your trouble, but do your homework next time. Buy a cheap bolt pattern gauge the next time you're at a swap meet. Save you lots of headaches...
