I've been down there a few times with Old Junkyard Jeff for this in the past. I don't know if it was the show, being in Daytona, or just making summer last a little longer but we sure had fun. It was pretty chilly down there one time but still great. If I had more dough for gas I'd have that old POS Mercury right on his back bumoer. It'd be fun to go get sun burned for Thanksgiving.

Will you be going down through the East or will you go down I-65? If you come through Nashville, we might be able to meet up for lunch?

For this area we are having a very mild winter. I'm happy with that. The heating bills in this house kills me.

This time of year we seem to have both. The heat runs at night, and the air during the day. I talk to my dad once a week, he live in Tipp City just north of Dayton, he said the weather has been fairly nice for this time of year. That would be my luck, I finally move south, and Ohio will become warm. lol

It's been really mild up here so far. In the mid to high 40's during the day and low 30's at nite. I've been to FLA in the winter when it was cold and damp. It seems really cold when your down there. Maybe because you're programed mentally for hot weather when you head that way and then the cooler temps seem really chilly. Spent some time in Daytona for the 24 Hr race when it was below freezing and we were sleeping in the parking lot on the ground. That was pretty chilly.

Had lunch today with an old friend from work. He just bought a condo five miles from the beach in New Smyrna Beach. He's leaving Thursday to go down and close and take two Harleys down on the way. Then come back after the first of the year to go back to work. The reason he's taking two bikes, one for him and one for visitors who want to ride. If I just knew how to ride I could not only have a place to stay but ride a pretty cool raked out Harley. That'd be pretty sweet way to go to the Boot Hill!

Just like ridin' a bicycle but not nearly so much work. Just have to remember what you don't know after about ten minutes of riding. Wink
