CCC Christmas Party

We're doing our party on December 3rd from 6PM till 10PM at the Haldeman Community Center (somewhere between Morehead and Olive Hill, KY) Drive till the banjos start to sound like their beside the car, then back track about a mile.

Our yearly CHRISTmas Party. Held for all our gearhead friends. As always it's a pot luck style get together. Bring a dish, beverages or desert. Whatever you can swing. More detail to follow, just want to get this out there so everyone can plan to be there.

Unfortunately, we will not be attending the Christmas Party. Janet scheduled for someone to watch Gauge and we are going shopping for Santa tonight. Hopefully we will see you at the Scrounger's Christmas Party.

Looks like the Grinch was at work against the X mas party in Carter Co. Someone stole the copper at the center so we had no heat. Santa was a no show. I thought I passed him on the way down there but he didn't look like he felt too good.

After getting to the party I was smacked by cold temps as I walked in. The smiles from everyone there soon warmed everyone up. Someone from the club took off to get us some heat. It was enough to keep the chill off the small babies. What kind of sad person would steal the copper lines for the heat? What a shame. That didn't keep the spirits down. It was great to see everyone.

I couldn't get over the food. Maybe I was really hungry? It smelled great! I was still worried about Santa. Heath and myself was able to sit on his lap last year and tell him what we wanted. I ask a few people and they just looked at me like I was nuts. After asking a few more people I find out he's not coming. What! Party without Santa! Come to find out Santa needed some money to pay his Elves so he hit up the Subway for some cash. He's now doing time. What was Santa thinking? Someone taking the copper for our heat. Santa is a no show due to???

Will this stop all the fun?

Not getting too far from my roots I figured I played a little street ball. I put my shoulder into that one big boy and it was like me hitting a brick wall. He didn't budge. HAha I bounced off him like he was a Mac Truck running over me. I had fun though.

We ate and I'd have to say it was some of the best food I have had in a long time!. Everyone outdid themselves.

Carter County Cruisers are great great group of people. They are like family and I'm proud to know them. It's hard to get everyone from any club in a picture. While I was there we got most of the crew from CCC in one pic. John I'll post what I have and you can take what you want. Some are better than others. I'll post 'em all and you can pick. Thanks for another great years of brotherhood between our clubs!
