Notary

Post by Arieldouglas on January 16th 2012, 5:00 pm

So you guys still have to have a notary stamp sale papers? In TN if we sale a car all we need is possession of the title. Sign and date it and hand it over to the buyer. I remember when we had to have a sale notarized but I guess they figured out that if you had the title, it was probably legit. Of course it makes it pretty easy to skip sales several times before the title is actually transferred. As long as it is the right title for the right car, the only one that looses is the state collecting the tax on every sale. ' Course they're not losing that much considering the cars we're talking about don't sell for that much. Very Happy
