I bought this car 10 yrs ago.
It kinda looked like this..

Still has the flathead in it. Didn't know much about them. So out it went.

This is the part I got burned out at.....The frame looked so nice.
That when I put the body back on I couldn't see any progress...like I went backwards!
So... Life happened Cindy and I Had a little girl and it was like this for a while.


Got a Job offer in Florida!
So I had get it to a point to load on a trailer.



While I have been down here it has been the green also flat black with porta walls and now it lools like this.





I still have a lot to do there never done... But they are always FUN!

Now that's a nice looking ride, great job.

I felt cold just looking at that last picture. The palm trees brings back some memories.
Cool rod too. I see it was trimmed out in yellow before. Was you thinking of shooting it yellow? I like the color on it now.

Ya.. At the time I was. My Dad ended up painting his 39 chevy yellow so that plan changed.
But the good thing was that a friend of mine had that color pick out for his car. Bought a gallon and didn't like it..... So the first gallon was free!

I also liked the palm trees in the background and your awesome ride! Don't worry Reb, Spring is right around the corner as long as we can get past these cold temps for a week or so and Snow today and tomorrow.

Funny you say that....I made a X-mass card out of one of the picture on the beach that day!

I have a sister in Key Largo. Really makes me want to go see her!

Sound like all of us may want to tackle a long haul to FL. I'd be game this year. Drive down together and hang out for a day on the beach, matbe time it to show up when a car show was going on so we could take that in and then split up and go do the stuff on our own like visiting family or whatever. If some were ready to head north at the same time then some of us could come back together. I lived in FL for a short time. I never made it to the Keys. I'd like to go as far south as I could go.

Sounds good to me! My Son and I were just talking about that last night. Only he is wanting to take US25 all the way down, which I believe runs into 17. But that would take a week just travelling US25 alone. But he thought it would be cool to take and just travel at slow speeds. Knowing us though, we would stop and check out the old rides and never get to Florida.

Chris or Mike is there a cool car show that pops up late in the year that is close to you guys? Maybe between where you both live?
