72 datsun 1200

found this car on cl for $400 awhile ago and had to get it. since then it has changed quite a bit.

when i first got it























just have finished swaping an a14 from an 81 datsun b210 into it.

engine going in

modifications to the car:
81 a14 engine
custom plates to set engine back
battery relocation to trunk to clear alt
custom real bone shifter
b210 strut/spindle and brake swap (still in progress)

That's because they all rusted completely away up Nawth!

Was a sawsall involved?

i didnt have a thing to do with a sawzall this time.

but YES

Unloved old cars everywhere breathed a sigh of relief when his sawsall died.

It was rough.
