Buuba's Hot Rod Shop March 22,2008

Madonna and I went over to this last spring and had a really good time. We toured about 5 or 6 Fab/Hot Rod related shops. It's on the west side of Indianapolis just off the by-pass. Just thought I'd post this up incase anybody was interested. I have Family things to do since it's Easter weekend.

From the HAMB:

Bubbas Hot Rod Shop and ISRA (Indiana Street Rod Association) will host the annual first car shop , open house and walking poker run next sat starting at 12:00.
Free food and door prizes with a walking shop tour of area fab shops etc.
We use this each year to kick off the season. Punk from Home Town Rods magazine will be there showing his latest magazine as well.
Dont miss this annual Indy event.
Indianapolis west side with first stop and visit at Linder Fuel injection, 4-D Gasoline Alley Indianapolis.
Easter egg hunt for the kids....

Last year we drove thru some really nasty stuff till about the Connersville exit but it was a good time. Had some Dogs and Tierod's pear salsa! At the one shop, they made the claim that they were about the only game around that could repair the front of a real aluminum Cobra, and the one radiator shop over there was about the only one left that would build a brass radiator. One of the other shops started out as a sprint car shop and was evolving into a hot rod shop. At another shop, they had Sid Waterman's fuel systems. There we got to see how the NASCAR cable driven fuel systems worked. They also had a mixer/milk shake maker collection that was really cool.
