I never heard from anyone if they were going so Corey and I jumped in the 34 and headed south a day early. How do you know when you are going to a car show in southern Kentucky?? when you stop for gas and you have to wait till the tractors fill up.
With the stall and gears it was slow ride but that didn't bother me any. It was uneventfull untill the 16 oz. bottle I got from Mexico and was using it as an overflow bottle came loose. The bracket broke and dropped the full bottle into the new solid fan I just put on. It sounded like a RPG flying under the car. hot water flew all over the place and it mess my fan up. :!: My radiator popped a small leak, maybe from a piece of glass. We was close so I just stayed on it untill we was almost to the hotel. We stopped and let it cool down a bit and found out we was a block away so we fired it up and made it in.
We booked a hotel about 6 miles from were the show was. It was a little bit small but had a full Kitchen with everything needed to feel like home. Other than Amy to cook for us.

I screwed around with the 34 for a few minutes and went looking for a store. We found a Kmart and walked all over the store looking for something to make an overflow bottle out of. We came up with a water bottle and a cool looking bracket for a bike. It will work for now but I will pitch the plastic bottle for something a little cooler later. A little rigging went on and before you knew it we had our overflow bottle. Corey and I went up to were they have the show at and hung out a little while. Vickers called me and said he may be coming down. Chad called and said he was on his way now. We had some time to blow before Chad showed up so I took Corey somewhere he's been bugging me to take him.

Corey and I met some new friends and ate some good food. The UFC fight was on so we watched it and I even made a few phone calls to try to set up a bet for the fight. (you know who you are. yeap you should have taken that bet. LOL) I don't think Corey will ever be the same...

Chad showed up at Hooters and hung out for a while before we headed back to the hotel. After a little poker and blackjack we called it a night.
The next morning we checked out, stopped at the gas station for the 3rd time and made it to the show by 9 a.m. There was already a line down the street. After about 10 minutes we made it in the lot.

We found a nice place to park, pulled out the chairs and set up the canopy. The sun was baking today but we had it licked. The Canopy fit real nice around the back of the car.
We was going to get Miss Pinny to do some licks on the cowl but we never seen her. We found Little Bill and had him do it.

Stan and his family showed up. It was good to meet everyone. I was teasing his wife a bit about cars for sale. Stan is leaning towards and A or some type of roadster but she wants something everyone can fit in.
I ran into a few friends and had some stop in under the canopy for a few minutes. It was good to meet Mudbone and everyone else that stopped by.
By this time I was running on empty. I got up and walked around some but ended back under the tent in the shade.
You never know what you will see at this show. Stan doesn't like snakes. lol
Vickers must be wanted by the FEDS. you can't get a good pic of him.
We were also talking about how some of these guys had the tuff guy thing going on. Here's Chads tuff guy look.
That is scary!

There were a few cute girls for the single guys at the show.
Vickers and I were talking about Chad trying to get a date with this chic. As it turns out it was the girl from Extreme 4X4. The show on spike. She's pretty cute when she has something other than work clothes on.
That's her on the right. Chad went home alone though.
This girl was at least 6 foot and was riding shotgun in a T that was chopped and channeled so bad that Vickers ask her how she folded herself up to get in it.

We stayed and watched the lot empty out. But after a while we had to start back. We loaded up all our stuff and made the trip back only stopping for GAS!!! lol ..That's Vickers Mopar through my dirty windshield
