We went and bought a Jap Fender for the truck today. I got the rocker welded on and some more body work done. I'm hoping it will get the finishing coats of mud tomorrow and see some primer on the cab. Now comes the fun part, block sanding Sad
Corey is finding out how much of a pain it is to sand one down. lol

We are hoping to have the cab sanded and painted by the Newport Car Show, so we can have a lady that does pinstriping and lettering do some work on the doors. I am trying to talk dad into letting me have his street scoop to put on the truck. Very Happy Mr. Riggs said he had a nice seat that he would let me have. We have to measure it to see if it will fit first.
If anyone has two 15x8 and two 15x7 Chevy truck rallys let me know.

I know where there are 4 good chevy truck ralleys 5 lug with 265 50 r 15's and and 275 r 60 15's no caps and rings tire are junk, good rollers, I think the rims are 8"er's, maybe bigger the tires are real wide.. 25 dollars a rim if interested let me know..
cool.. will they just sell 2? if so we will take 'em

I'll have to ask him, he is a real a-hole, I think he wants to sell the whole set..

I was hoping to have the cab in primer yesterday but I kept finding dings and dents that I had missed. More sanding. geek

more sanding geek geek

MORE SANDING! :elephant:
Corey was doing a good job at not griping about the sanding.

He left the garage and went to a few friends houses to see if they would stop over and help sand his new truck to help get it done faster. Guess how many show up to help? (0) scratch Some friends huh! poor kid...

We have all the major bad spots fixed so I pulled it in the alley to clean up the garage. WOW what a mess. lol.

truck goes back in the garage and the fun part of taping starts. Again Corey jumps in without a gripe and starts taping the truck up. I hit the windows while he did the doors.

One thing I should note is that we did have good ventilation. Corey should have had a mask on but we got cought up in the idea of getting the cab covered. My fault!!! drunken As I looked at these pics a famous mans last words he said to me came to mind...

I'd like to take a look at 'em if I could. If they are the wide ones I'd go $75 on them. Does the Breadman have them or someone else?
