Oil pump and Pick up tube

Post by RsvBill on August 6th 2008, 5:37 am

After fighting with with this damn thing for an hour I said screw it. I have the new H/V Oil pump and Pick up tube. I need to press these together, I already bent one pick up tube and have the second laying here. I have greased and um up beat thats how I bent the other one. I did notice the Oil pump I removed was WELDED not factory either but noticed that.

OK let me know what I need to do?

Thanks
Bill

Find an open end wrench that fits the tube tight, put it against the bulge and tap the tube into the pump then tack it with a MIG so it won't fall out.
