1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe
I'm thinking about buying a Plymouth and it has two big problems that I can think of. Ones that the brakes are out, and switch from a 6 volt to a 12 volt system. I have had a chance to look at the brakes. So I'm not sure if it needs a master cyclender or just a line. I was just wondering if the mastercyclinder is bad how hard would it be to find a replacement or upgrade to a new unit.
The other problem is what sort of advice can you give for upgrading the electrical system. The big thing that i'm wondering about is about the ignition system and the starter.

I would might upgrade to a dual line master cylinder. Might have to do some modifying. If it were me, I would take the original wiring out and put a wiring kit in it. Would hate to take a chance on the old wiring and it might catch on fire.

I do eletrical work for a living so I won't have any problems with doing it.
I was also wondering if anybody on here has ever dealt with an oil bath air cleaner.
