canidates for 1/4 mile car

You might want to look at the torque boxes in the rear, (these seem to disappear on the old Falcon and Mustangs ) unless you plan on narrowing the rear, tubbing it and putting new frame rails in.

if someone wants to set it up we can go look at it. bad thing is if he stuck on 400 and we can get that 50 mopar for 500 we'd be better off getting the mopar I think. another thing is we are not sure how much the guy wants for the mopar. the drunks said 500.00 but they may not know what they are talking about. then again we may get the old 50 for $300.00 I'm not sure what to do. if someone wants to set up a time to look at the falcan we can. it would make a cool gasser. maybe later even a altered wheelbase car.

I sent the guy with the Futura an e-mail for further info and also gave him my number...I located a solid 51 Mopar for $400 but its an ugly ass four door model, some four doors look good but not this one in my opinion....

4 door... we could weld the back doors shut cut the roof across and pull it forward and give it the coupe look. look like a willy's kind of. straight axel gasser. just a thought

what do you guys think about the falcon? Ryan and I may check it out tomorrow. is it too new for your guys liking? hold off for a 50's car? we may be ably to get the falcan for 2 bills. maybe. or is it worth our time to wait for something older? what do you guys think?

Its not a big deal to me either way I love the Idea of a short wheel base gasser, I say if the frame sections are savable/solid and we can score it for 2-300 its a no brainer....Its light would not take more than a stock SBC/SBF with headers and a 4 barrel to be in the high 13's being its so light....plus stripped it should be a good platform..Any other Ideas on this car?????
