Need a carb!!!!

So todays adventures have been expensive but worth while, I purchased the power plant for my baby.. here are the casting numbers

3970010 stamped witha 5.7 with all my looking i have found this to be a real 350, roduced from 1969-1979. The man bought this as a crate motor 2 years ago and had it in his full size van. I have the papers to the engine actually has a warrenty but i have to see if i can transfer it. ??? between the paper work of when the engine was installed and his wreck was only 4k miles heheheh lucky for my he wrecked the van..... engine still runs , sounds good but he is taking the carb, I am getting the intake, eldebrock performer.......

So i am looking for the following Im sure it is laying in your garage somewhere and you will be needing the cash and or space.

i need a carb um a 4 barrel, holley or edlebrock will doooooooooooo.....
oh yeah motormounts.......... I will have to do some magic but we will figure that out on friday next. Maybe a little shop night here at bills if anyone is interested... and pending i get off as i should.
headers and woudl like to gat a different oil pan, has boring black at the current time.

Well kids let me know if you gots anything laying around before i visit auto zone.

I lucked out I got the motor and a tranny $500.00 for both..... i am thinking this is a good deal........

You did good on the price for the motor and tranny Sorry i don'thave a carb or a mounts for a chebby motor all ford stuff over here! Very Happy

Yeah i though about going with ord, but i decided i wanted to enjoy the car not always be working on it.

lol..
You did good on the block for sure. 101 casting #. When you pull the pan you will find a 4 bolt main.
If you don't like my dinged and dented hot rod sitting next to yours, put yours back on it's trailer and leave!

Right now with scrap values so high, I'm surprised they sell the GM stuff anywhere but to the scrapyard. (How's that Dog?)

Carb is out of the way, made the old man feel bad for hording parts, so he give me a holley 650 , still new in the box..... chalk another one up for the good guys.

Damn, I could use that carb. I'm running a borrowed AFB now. My old Holley is on the bench.

didn't you just take a FORD to the scrapyard.

MR fab there is a Golley 750 and intake on ole skool rodz he wants 250 will not part , might help.
